If you send us an email or call us with an enquiry, we will record your contact details and any other information to help you with that enquiry. Your email address will not be added to a mailing list and we will not send you any marketing material.
When you visit this website please note that this website is hosted in Australia and does not use advertising, or any advertising tracking. This website includes links to external websites, each responsible for providing their own privacy statement.
When you visit this website we use Google Analytics to collect website statistics and visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to understand which content is most relevant to people accessing the DEP site. This data is collected in aggregate only, and we make no attempt to identify individual people from this data. Google Analytics sets persistent cookies (_gat_gtag, _gid, _ga) which help it collect information about how people use this website. Find out more about how Google uses data it receives from websites. If you wish to opt-out of sending information to Google Analytics, Google provides a browser add-on for this purpose.
When you make a donation to Derwent Estuary Program Limited, we record your name, email address, telephone number, billing postcode, comment, type of credit card used, last four digits of your card number, as well as your IP address and web browser information associated with the donation. We ask you for your credit card information to process the donation, but do not have access to, or store, your full credit card information beyond the type of card and last four digits of your card number. Your donation is securely processed by Donorbox, with credit card processing by Stripe. If you prefer to donate by offline means or directly by internet banking, please contact us for arrangements.
The Derwent Estuary Program has an email newsletter list which we use to send out a quarterly newsletter as well as occasional updates. We do not add anyone to our mailing list without their consent. Every email newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you may unsubscribe at any time. We use Campaign Monitor as our email newsletter platform. By subscribing to our newsletter, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be stored within Campaign Monitor for processing in accordance with their Terms & Policies. We do not track individual people’s email activity (opens, clicks, views) in Campaign Monitor and only receive statistics in aggregate.
